what You Need to Know

Hi, I’m Audrey.

If you’re considering hair extensions or hair-loss support, you likely have questions about what may be possible, what the investment could look like, and how the process begins.

This page covers the essential details I want every new client to understand before submitting an inquiry—including pricing, appointment availability, consultation requirements, installation timing, and ongoing maintenance.

My goal is for you to move forward feeling informed, prepared, and confident that the process works for you.

I May Be the Right for You If…

✓ You want your hair and scalp carefully assessed before a method is recommended.

Protecting your natural hair matters just as much as the finished result.

✓ You are open to a personalized plan that may differ from what you originally expected.

✓ You are prepared for both the initial investment and ongoing professional maintenance.

✓ You can plan appointments in advance during my available studio hours.

✓ You value comfort, realistic expectations, and long-term results over the fastest or least expensive option.

I May Not Be the Right Fit for You If…

× You need evening, Sunday, or last-minute appointments.

× Price is the main factor in choosing your extension artist.

× You have already selected a specific method and are not open to professional recommendations.

× You want more length or hair than your natural hair can safely support.

× You are looking for quick appointments or bead-only move-ups as your primary form of maintenance.

× You want a detailed, personalized plan without scheduling an in-person consultation.

What to Know Before You Move Forward

Before submitting an inquiry, I want you to have a clear understanding of the potential cost and what the first steps of the process look like.

This page answers the most common questions new clients have about starting investment, appointment availability, the consultation process, expected timing, and ongoing maintenance.

Reviewing these details now will help you decide whether the investment, scheduling, and timing work for you.

Understanding Your Investment

Every extension and hair-loss support plan is created around the individual, so the investment can vary considerably from one client to another.

A smaller, less involved service may begin around $750. For many clients, an initial investment of approximately $1,300 to $1,700 is a realistic planning range. Fuller transformations, longer lengths, mesh or topper integration, and highly customized coverage plans may extend into several thousand dollars.

Your investment is influenced by:

• Your natural hair density and texture
• The length and fullness you would like to achieve
• The amount and type of hair required
• The level of coverage and customization needed
• Whether color services are part of your plan
• The method best suited to your hair, scalp, and desired result

Your personalized pricing is provided after I have assessed your hair and scalp in person and created the appropriate recommendation.

During your consultation, you will receive a complete service plan, including the initial investment, recommended maintenance schedule, and anticipated ongoing costs. You will have all the information you need before deciding whether you would like to move forward.

My availability

I see clients Tuesday through Friday, with the final weekday appointment beginning at 4:00 p.m.

Saturday appointments are limited and are often booked out several months in advance. I do not offer appointments on Sundays or Mondays.

My schedule is reserved in advance, and installation appointments may still be scheduled several weeks after your consultation.

On-Going Maintenance

Extensions, mesh, and topper systems require consistent professional maintenance to protect your natural hair and preserve the seamless finish of your system.

Maintenance pricing varies based on the type of system and the level of customization required. Extension maintenance typically begins around $225–$284 per row, while mesh and topper maintenance is priced according to the individualized structure and design of your system.

I do not offer bead-only move-ups or partial maintenance services. Every maintenance appointment includes a full reinstall or complete system refresh to support the safety, longevity, and appearance of your system.

Most clients return every 6–10 weeks, although your recommended schedule may vary based on your hair, lifestyle, and selected method.

Before moving forward, please make sure you can consistently attend appointments during my available hours and are prepared for the ongoing investment required to maintain your results. Pre-booking is strongly recommended.

Submit an Inquiry

The inquiry form is the first required step for all new extension and hair-loss support clients.

Because every recommendation is highly personalized, I need more than a brief description of the service you are interested in. Your form allows me to review your current hair, scalp concerns, hair history, previous extension experiences, desired result, schedule, and maintenance expectations before deciding what should happen next.

Clear, complete answers and current photos help me understand:

✓ What you would like to change about your hair

✓ Whether your hair and scalp may be able to support the result you are hoping for

✓ Whether a more cautious approach or medical evaluation may be appropriate

✓ Whether your goals, schedule, investment, and maintenance expectations align with the services I provide

✓ Whether an in-person consultation is likely to be the right next step

Please take your time and answer each question as accurately as possible. The more complete the information, the more thoughtfully I can review your needs.

Personalized recommendations, method selection, and exact pricing are provided only after your inquiry has been reviewed and your hair and scalp have been assessed in person.

How I’ll Communicate with you

I communicate primarily by text and email so your questions, appointment details, and next steps remain clear and easy to reference.

Once your inquiry has been reviewed, you will receive my response through one of those channels. Phone consultations and appointment booking by phone are not available.

Text and email are appropriate for scheduling, confirmations, and brief questions. Personalized recommendations, method selection, pricing, and service planning are reserved for your in-person consultation.

After submitting your form, I recommend saving Kindred’s contact information so my response is easy to recognize and less likely to be filtered. If you have not heard from me within the expected review window, please check your spam, junk, and filtered messages.

What Happens After You Submit your form

Most forms submitted Tuesday through Thursday are reviewed within two business days. Inquiries received later in the week may be reviewed the following business week.

Once I have completed my review, I will send your recommended next step by text or email.

Your next step may include:

• An invitation to schedule an in-person consultation
• A request for additional photos or information
• A recommendation to wait and reassess your hair at a later time
• A suggestion to consult with a physician, dermatologist, or trichologist before moving forward
• A referral to another professional or type of hair solution
• A note that my services may not be the right fit at this time

If I do not recommend moving forward with an in-person consultation, I will explain why and, when appropriate, guide you toward a more suitable next step.

In-Person Consultation

In-person consultations are $150 and are required before any installation. Your consultation includes an AI-powered scalp assessment with a detailed report you can access for 30 days.

During your consultation, I will take an in-depth look at your natural hair and scalp, review your hair history, and thoughtfully discuss your concerns, lifestyle, maintenance expectations, and desired result.

This appointment allows me to determine which options may be safe, realistic, and best suited to you. You will leave with a personalized recommendation and a clear breakdown of the initial investment and ongoing maintenance.

If you choose to move forward with an installation, your $150 consultation fee will be applied toward your service.

Reserving Your Installation

If you choose to move forward, a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your installation appointment and begin sourcing any custom hair or materials needed for your service.

Your installation date is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Choose Your Starting Point
